I could have sworn they called this man the "Bat King" but alas they really called him the "Bat Man of Mexico", which thinking about it makes a lot more sense. As a lover of PBS and the show Nature I watched this episode recently and to my surprise bats a pollinators. I had no clue that they were responsible for pollinating the agave crops that provide the base for the making of tequila.
Bats aren't something that I have much experience with. Every once in awhile I can spot them fluttering around on an evening walk. I have only seen a couple up close and they are truly unique looking animals.
Anyways it was a good an informative watch and a good hour spent learning about the complex beauty of nature.
